Hello! I am Genevieve Krahn, the brains and brawn behind the operations of Jane of all Trades. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba - JOAT was founded in 2016 out of a desire to merge the design and build process at an accessible scale. In particular, using practices that foster sustainability and create a more functional space.

Accessibility and sustainability are at the forefront of JOAT’s approach. We strive to implement techniques and materials that stand the test of time both aesthetically and functionally. We take care to build thoughtfully, with consideration to longevity. We particularly love work with reclaimed and natural materials, revitalizing old buildings, and design that maximizes space and efficiency.
